Default 2003 superduty gas to diesel swap

hi. i am wondering if i could swap my 5.4l out with a 7.3l. wha i would need to change and if it would be worth it?

It can be done but it would be cheaper to just buy a diesel. your talking the engine,transmission,t-case if 4x4 new wire harness new motor mounts. then theirs the fuel system pump, the filters, new lines, drive shafts. I bet all said and done you could have 10-12k in to it.

Cheaper to put a cummins into it. Buy the motor mount and trans adapter kit and go.

ok. i would put a big block in it. but thats going in my 1979 f150 with 1 tons, 4 link and 44 inch boggers. thanks for the tips guys
