You should be able to find an 06 Raptor 700 fairly close to your price range...they will blow out any quad mentioned so far. They have gobs of power stock, and can be made into a monster fairly easily. If you can't find any cheap enough, you can always snag up a Raptor 660, not quite as good of machine as the 700...but I would rather have that over a warrior or 400ex anyday.

I am kicking around selling my 2003 Suzuki Z400. It has renthal bars, yosh pipe, jetted, nerf bars, heel catches, front bumper, razor tires. Hit me up if interested in pictures.I would sell it for $2200 obo

i've got an 04 raptor 350 for sale which is basically a 100% improved ride over a warrior with the same drivetrain for 2,500

If you could go without reverse, get a YFZ 450. I just picked up a 04' for only $2,000. By far the faster quad i've ever ridden.

Yeah I am very happy with the ltz400. This post is done a couple months ago.
