Default illiteracy . . . .

I get home from work and am handed this by the fam who got a visitor:

I am sad I was not home to help Latasha when she rang the doorbell but evidently Latasha cannot read. I know this because I have this at my front door:

I feel just terrible about this. Illiteracy is a horrible thing! Plus I don't even have LD service to call on this great deal.

What to do?

It's sad they dont use those prepaid return packages like aol used to way back in the day! My dad used to tape the "prepaid" part to used tires and drop them in the quick drop at the post office. Lmao... did it for almost 2 years before they quit.

Cell phones and text messaging have ushered in a new age of illiteracy. Had that sign read "No sulicting, Lulz!" You'd have been fine.

Have one of those on our front door in bright colors. You can always be an ass and complain to the city, since I'm guessing she's breaking city code. I don't know what Saginaw's code is, but take a look at it.

City of Pontiac Municipal Code:
Quote:
Sec. 6-60. Distribution of handbills at inhabited private premises.
(a) No person shall distribute, deposit, place, throw, scatter or cast any commercial handbill in or upon any private premises which are inhabited, except by handing or transmitting such handbill directly to the owner, occupant or any other person then present in or upon such private premises.
(Code 1985, § 3-7)
and

Quote:
Sec. 6-62. Distribution of handbills prohibited where premises properly posted.
No person shall throw, deposit or distribute any commercial or noncommercial handbill upon any private premises if requested by anyone thereon not to do so, or if there is placed on such premises in a conspicuous position near the entrance thereto a sign bearing the words: "no trespassing," "no peddlers or agents," "no advertisement," or any similar notice, indicating in any manner that the occupants of such premises do not desire to be annoyed or to have their right to privacy disturbed, or to have any such handbills left upon their premises.
(Code 1985, § 3-8)
Had one idiot walk up to the door as we were comin home fom walkin the dog. Asked if we lived there and wanted to hand us a copy of his garbage. Was breaking the above and another section stating you can't go around between 8pm and 8 am the following morning.
