I had a honda years ago that came in my shop once a year to have the blower motor "cleaned out". Damn mouse would make a nest every year and it would get debris in the blower motor fan and would cause a severe wobble in the dash with the blower on. Guy came in like clock work for about 3 years with this problem. 2 years ago he came in with same problem and I went to get into the car and it stunk BAD. He didn't notice the smell. I took the blower out and the little bastard must have gotten stuck between the blower and the case and the guy turned the blower on. Mouse guts and remnants EVERYWHERE int he HVAC case. It was rather disgusting and was quite costly to clean out.

I would have been like "You have got to be kidding me". Then pulled it out and played with it. Do you know what kind it was?

Oh and I've always heard that in the winter you sould honk your horn before you start the car to make sure no cats are around the engine. If you start and there is a cat in there, it mutilates the cat pretty good. They climb up there for warmth in the winter.

I had this happen a couple weeks ago. I remote started my car before I left for work and low and behold my wife called me about 3 hours later wondering if I had seen my daughters 2 kittens before I left. I told her no and somehow I got this sinking feeling inside and went out in the parking lot and lifted the hood on the car. The kittens were wrapped around the crank pulley and serpentine belt.

I've gutted and butchered many deer, cows, and other varmints. I've delivered many calfs and watched my 2 children born. Cleaning out the kittens in the engine compartment in literal pieces was probably the most dis-heartening occasion I've ever experienced. I hope to never do this again!!
