Parting out - would it be worth it ???
I'm going to be picking up an 82 jeep Wagoneer - Brougham, and all I am using off this complete rig is the motor, tranny, and front leaf springs (if they are even good). The frame is rusted in the rear, and pretty much from the firewall back has some sort of rust damage. It has the d44 front, d20 rear (1piece shafts if I researched correctly), and 208tcase? It has selectable 2,4H,4L - correct me if I am wrong. So interior, and trim parts usable, along with front clip - maybe bumpers, glass, exhaust. Would it be worth parting out, or am I better off just taking my items off and bringing it to the scrap yard? Is there really a demand for wagoneer parts - I guess the front axle possible, but the rear? Figured I would ask around before even posting in the parting out section. No pics yet to show condition - picking it up Saturday.
