for the top of highlands go to Hedrick off of Stutsmanville, and take that seasonal road to the top. also hit some of the seasonal trails off of State road.

Thats exactly where I've been two-tracking with my son. Usually play paintball once in awhile on the state land up there too and thats how I was introduced to the area. Used to start in on W Brutus rd and decided to explore where those trails went, before I knew it I was next to the Arthur Hills golf course on the north side of the Boyne Highlands property :)

Took the boy out state rd this evening and found some great trails thanks to your recommendation. Started in on Niswander Rd, and trekked around for an hour, stumbled on some good mudholes too.

Found a great way to get in on the trails by the Highlands off of Stutsmanville, just west of Hedrick Rd. Truck was seriously leaning on a couple occasions, fun stuff! The old ranger did well, she was doing some flexing tonight for sure

on Brutus road (Off Pleaseantview)heading toward Alanson there is a road on the left hand side called SunnyRidge, its paved and then turns to gravel. Thats another fun one.

I like the trail riding and hill climbing instead of mudding these days. Mudding in pits breaks stuff faster it seems like, and costs too much for me to modd my daily driver.

Pick up a Gazetter as well. Ive found them to be very accurate. Other than gated roads.

Try Chandler townshitp there's some great trails there. I wheeled all over up there for 20 plus years. There's also alot of trails out off Evergreen road.

Being a Wind Turbine Technician, I tend to travel a lot. I will pick up a Delorme Atlas & Gazetteer for which state I'm in.. The map books a very accurate and up to date on all the roads, fire trails, and seasonal roads. They are broken down in to small area map portions that are very easy to read.

Where do you ride trails in T.C? Only places I've found are the power lines towards acme/williamsburg, and then Hoosier Valley. It'd be cool to find some new stuff.

From what I understand the powerlines are illegal to be on, go there and enjoy your ticket.

I'm live in Rogers City and I'm looking for some trails. I know of some 2 Tracks outside of Tower on Afton Road. Never been down them though.
