File for unemployment and if the employer objects to it, then you need to dispute it.

1. buy a assault rifle.
2. kill everyone.
The up side to this plan is that unemployment wont be a worry anymore.

dood. You got fired for "Stealing" and you signed a paper saying you got fired for stealing.

WTF. Something doesn't add up here. I'm curious as to the rest of the "Long story short" part of your original post.

Did you get a copy of the paper you signed?? It makes no sense to me that you signed a paper, essentially agreeing that you stole something and while you were being "wrongfully" terminated.

I suspect there's much more going on here. Either that, or you aren't very smart. Anyhow, sorry you lost your job.

No, you did not HAVE to. However , you chose to under duress.

File for unemployment, the paperwork will follow shortly. Be careful as to HOW you answer the questions that will be asked. The theft statement was an obvious ploy by the employer to avoid paying. You would be well served by contacting the other former employees that were dismissed for the "same reason".

"So, Mr. Employer, ALL of your former employees were stealing from you?"

HMMMMM.

Yep, in fact he'll get free room and board the rest of his life, free medical, lots of counseling, lifelong media attention and probably book and movie deals. This is probably his best option so far.

That sounds like a good idea actually, get in touch with all the other people who were fired for the same reason.
I fucking hate employers.

I would have wanted to know what I stole. I did read once that "stealing" from one's employer can also include stupid stuff like pens, paper clips, paper, etc. You may think you're just using it for work but if you take it outside the workplace it's considered "stealing".
When I worked at a grocery store they even considered eating a cookie from a broken package stealing. We made sure we purchased the pens we used at our registers so we weren't accused of stealing them. That got expensive since the customers were always ripping them off.
Were there cameras and videos that could be reviewed? Was it just word of mouth from some other employee who didn't want to be the next one cut due to economics?
I would have asked a lot of questions.
I was once fired for selling an ad to an advertiser who owed $30 for a past ad. Want to know how that went? His ad was still run, he came in and paid for the back balance before it was printed AND my supervisor got my $600 commission check for that month since I was no longer employed there when commissions were paid.
A friend later heard that they needed to let 3 people in the advertising dept. go and to find a way to do it so they couldn't collect unemployment. I was employed the next day by one of my advertisers so it wasn't an issue. I had a lawyer friend tell me I could have sued and got my job back - but, why would I want to work there? The atmosphere?

File for unemployment. The employer has to prove theft. If you win, he gets the bill.

Sounds to me like the employer has some personal financial issues he's trying to hide from the wife....... as in "I keep having to pay for stuff my dirtbag employees are stealing from me!"

IMHO, said employer has a gambling or drug problem he's trying to hide.

You need to go into the bosses private bathroom and give him an upper decker.
