Default Got fired today.

Was working at a dealership in lapeer for a while now. Things were going good, then boss starting weirding out. Long story short, i got fired. Heres the kicker. The reason he gave me was stealing. I have never stole anything form this place or any others for that matter. And the weird thing is all the other people that got fired or let go were all let go for stealing. Now my question. Can i get unemployment or is that way he said i was stealing so he didnt have to pay unemployment?

Fired for stealing, no, you cannot get unemployment. However, if he didnt press chares, you may be able to work something out.

Ask for proof. Ask if he tell you what you stole and prove it, if not then i would say wrongful dismisal

Don't ask for anything. Call your lawyer and have your lawyer ask for what is needed.

Why did you "have to sign", were they going to fire you if you didn't? That might hurt you some.

Me neither, but if it was untrue, I would have absolutely refused to sign it.

He can always say the manager threatened him with prosecution or with holding his last check if he didn't sign it.
