Default K-2500 door removal

This may seem silly but........to remove the drivers side front and rear doors from my 2000 K2500 Classic (older body style) is it really as easy as un wiring and driving the pins out? A deer hit me and took out both doors on the drivers side. I want to replace them myself, with assistance from friends. What do I need to be mindful of? Any help is appreciated

just as you described. just remember what way you have to drive the pins out. i've seen people try and put the pins in the wrong way and cause alot of frustration.

I remember doing this on a 99 3500. What a pain in the ass. Those doors arent light either.

Oh, and dont get pissed and cut the pins. They cost $50 at the dealer.

What he said!

Just get a buddy or 2 to hold the door so it doesn't slip and fukc your rocker or fender up!

Get some new bushings if the doors are sloppy at all.

I like to use a cherry picker or other means to lift and hold the door, possibly a come-a-long from the rafters, whatever...makes life alot easier.
