Default 95 Sonoma Transfer Case..Use of a NP205?

Hey all,
Peiceing parts together for a SFA swap,
Truck: 1995 Sonoma 2wd, 4.3L V6 5spd
Parts: '79 D44 and 9". NP205 transfer case.

Can the NP205 be mated to my tranny? any adapters available.
Not sure what tranny is in there right now just know its 5spd....

Nick double check but I'm pretty sure you can use a TH350 or TH400 without any modding or adapters. Easy to find and cheap.

you have the NV3500. no known adapters for that trans. best bet is to run a divorced t-case.

This was originally out of a 1992 Blazer. It was assembled using the strongest parts from 2 different cases. It has the 6 planetary gearset and wide chain and gears. It also has a JB Conversions Slip Yoke Eliminator (SYE) kit installed. I will include the front 26 spline output flange that came from High Angle driveline too. Not sure about including the rear output flange yet, but its 32 spline, so easy to find one. Also comes with 2 spare chains (because I have them laying around). This is a direct bolt-in for any S10, whether it be NV3500 or 4L60E. Also works behind other transmissions with the right adapters (its currently behind my TH350).

231C-HD case - $200
SYE kit - $300
labor - $250
front output flange - $150

$900 invested

Asking $500. Make me an offer if you don't think that is a fair price and we can work something out. Not available immediately, but I expect to have it out in the next few months.

Thanks Caleb, but my case won't work on his truck if he has a 2WD tranny. His best bet is to run a divorced transfer case.

NV3500's don't have a removable tailhousing. transmissions is 2 pieces front half and back half. meaning the trans needs to be completely torn apart. this would cost a ton of money as not many people rebuild those transmissions.
