Default Changing from axle joints?

Couple questions...

Vehicle 79 F150 4x4

1- How hard is it to get the hub apart? It does not have lockouts...so im assuming its some sort of spline with a nut and lock washer?

2- once apart...how does the axle shaft come out? Does it got a C clip inside the diff cover, or do they just slide out? or what...ive never changed one before.

Thanks guys.

they just pull out once you have the hub and everything off of the spindle. the spindle must come off as well. most will need a spindle socket with the slide hammer to remove unless it was off lately.
