Default Will TTB D50 mount up in a 2WD F2fiddy?

I sure could use me some 4wd, and I don't have any other justification for getting rid of a perfectly good truck.

Anyone ever done this? Tie might have the donor parts I need...

I believe the engine cross members are different so the brackets wouldn't bolt up to the frame in the right place...but then again I could just be talking out my ass

Yes. My friend Pete dun it, (srsly) to his 2fiddy. I ax'd him and he said it all bolted in. Now however, he said if he had to do it again he would have gone "bolt in" straight axle. If'n you want to talk to Pete i'll send you his #.

Sweet! thanks for the replies -

Gotta figure out these things:
will my 2wd ZF trans work with a TC?
Which TC works with a ZF gearbox
rear driveshaft length and mods to make my 2wd one work (maybe a shorter front shaft?)
find a front DS.

I've seen a few threads on doing the F350 D60 leaf front end on a 250, however, it is a BIG tear-up / job for someone like me.
