I would shoot the first cop to question the presence of the gun or its' non-registry.

That's probably the best answer you will get out of this web site.

Not everyone has the extra cash to buy 12 guns.

TSA guy should be able to tell you if it's metal, just put it in your pants and go visit him.

If he doesn't plan to comply with the laws in the highly probably case of a govt outlawing them, then why would he comply with the laws now.

That makes no sense.

If the gun is registered couldn't they come collecting or send you a letter telling you to turn it in?

Now does it makes sense to you?

I do think the have two - One registered and one not is going to be the way to go.

Maybe I shouldn't have posted what I did. I thought this was going to be more on how to get an unregistered gun registered. Thanks to those who did answer my question.

No, you have to register it.

You won't be taxed on it, and if its ever stolen, it would help out down the road.

It's free to register (they got rid of that stupid fee a while ago), and you just go to your local PD or county building to get the permit.

When you go to register it, they give you 10 questions which is stupid, and then you register it.

why wouldn't you?

edit.....

Or if this gun has bodies attached to it, I wouldn't register it

This small gun is a Davison Company gun. I'm not sure how old it is though. I would think from the 60's or 70's.

I haven't been able to find a lot of info about the maker. I would think they never got off the ground or they are really a off shot of another company?

No, it doesn't.

Saying that if the government decides to outlaw guns, you won't turn it in. OK, so saying F.U. to the govt, that you don't care about gun laws, and aren't concerned with committing a felony with regards to illegally owning a gun.

So, why would you be concerned now with committing a felony with regards to illegally owning a gun?

Is it because the 2nd scenario is a real life thing, and the 1st is just a fantasy you have where you are tough guy and the zombies and muslims are coming for you?
