You need either a 16mm male oring fitting or an 18mm male oring fitting.
What's it measure?

He cut the pressure hose from my pump and put an end on it. He said well hope it holds... He is the one that wanted me to braze too fittings together.

you can get reusable male and female fittings (field fittings) put one on your power steering hose and then the other on a hose to go to your valve. i would use a new power steering hose not the one that was already on the truck. i have done this a couple times when i could not get the correct fittings. if you need any info on this pm me your # and i will give you a call.

The field fittings on the OE type p/s hose don't work well together. I tried it and had multiple issues. The sharp edges of the field fitting cuts the house apart. Without the steel of the hyd. Hose liner the OE hose can't last.

Including failure and fire.

I bought a new OE hose from the parts store, cut the crimp clamp off the pump end. Found a place that put hyd hose on it and crimped it for me. Said no warranties and didn't charge me. I have had zero issues with it.

i have done it both ways, it has worked in a pinch when i could not get any thing else. crimping them is always a better idea if you can get someone to do it, most places wont or cant legally.

Front axle now has breaks, orbital is mounted again, steering is burned in, getting lines made up on lunch today.

Tim got the rear of the truck wired and the winch.

Tonight pulling the trans to put the torque converter in it and a new tailshaft bearing.

It's coming together.
