My vote is still for cheap normal rims with InnerAirLocks. Cheap to replace if you destroy anything to bad. It's not that baller rims on a Dakota is polishing a turd, it's that baller dubs are just a waste of money. They may be great for gofast in the desert, but there isn't much of that around here.

Regardless of what rim you go with, the biggest issue is the bead of the CSX's is so wide. Almost all rims have a narrower section on the inside area for the bead to fit. So the sx never fully seats within the ridges of the rim. So whatever you go with, measure that spot otherwise you'll most likely end up with the same issue.

Honestly, go with the Hutchinson's. You will not regret it.
And to John's point about width, you can order the inner spacer tube to a specific width for your tires.

sorry if I'm behind again, but if you're buying new wheels, why not h1s? love mine and stupid simple to work on. mine have pvc inserts.

they are heavy, but not a deal breaker in my book.

I have SXIIs on mine with zero issues

I'll step back into the shadows now

I like my hutchinson beadlocks, they make my shit rig work betterer. I think you should find some thornbirds to fix your tire issues.

Whoa this thread exploded

I'm getting race lines more than likely. My logic is now I'll have a rim designed to be offroad. If I still have the inner bead problem then I'll get inner airlocks as well.

Best of both worlds.

Yep I would love to have a set of double beadlocks but I cant beat the price of the race lines and from what I've been told they seem to hold the 43's.

This is coming from Scott at Goforth Tires himself. (Sponcers all the rock bouncers with 43's and race lines.)

So wish me luck
