We have our drivetrain mounted on 4 poly bushings, all near the frame. So far, so good. We figured it would all flex (or not) together. It makes it easier to r&r the drivetrain.

I then used a factory style rubber trans mount and used a poly bushing at the t-case. Transmission and t-case mounts were as close to the center line of the power train as possible so they were a supporting pivot point. Worked great for my rig, I also had the frame rails boxed. My cross members were bolt in at the frame, but were rigid mounted and both ends of the frame had welded rectangular tubing instead of the factory riveted style. The frame was very rigid.
This setup is what i was going to shoot for with my engine swap.

I am watching all this with curiosity. Physically getting my new drive train mounted in my rig is the most daunting task of my whole swap.
