So far it seems to be working great have some things I need to change but it's getting wheeled like it is for the next year or so I lost my garage for a while. So until I get the new one built I'm putting the Dakota on the back burner.

No moved houses and no garage yet. Trying to save some cash to build my own sick of renting and throwing away money. But yes there are some major plans for the BII.

Well it's broked

Got a better idea for the rear shaft I was told that the pillow block will be a lot stronger if I flip it over then the force won't tear it apart.

Here's a few nice shots of your rig from pre-broked point.

I got under the dakota this weekend and found that my trans cross member is moving allowing my front axle to "wrap" and breaking the front driveshaft, also tearing the trans mount. So re-design is in order for that ...

Decided I'm moving my lower rear links in and running a regular slip style rear driveshaft this time no more carrier bearing pillow block B.S. should be much stronger.

Other than that thread a new bump stop in again and wheel the piss outta it.

Tore it all apart last night.

Gonna sleeve the frame so the crossmember can't move anymore.

Also found 2 blown out motor mounts.

Cutting the rear cross member out too and re-working the links.

Made good destruction progress last night.

Started putting it back together. 2 new motor mounts, new starter again, moved the lower links out to the frame think monster truck suspension now I would like to french them into the frame but that would take a lot longer than I have time for at this time it's not my shop it's sitting in. Plating in the lower link mounts today and starting a new rear cross member after this I'll be able to run a regular style rear drive shaft looks like I have enough parts laying around to build my own this time too. Just gotta send the front driveshaft out to have a new CV put on and I'm ready to roll again.
