Default Suggest a shop to do the lift on my excursion?

I'm calling around trying to find a shop to buy my lift from, and to likely do the install as well. With needing the drive shafts redone and my general laziness and needing my truck as a daily driver for the winter I am considering just having a shop do the install for me to avoid downtime from running around chasing random parts or from running into the typical problems when you do this stuff yourself.

I'd like someplace near chicago, but would drive 3-4 hours one way for a good deal. As I've said before most of my knowledge is in the drag racing arena and I am kind of a fish out of water in this scene with only mild/moderate knowledge on things. So I figured ask the die hards as you will have the best advice for me. I called suburban driveline in addison for a quote today, and am awaiting a call back from attitude performance hopefully tomorrow? Who else should I be talking to?

I'm pretty set on the BDS 10" lift but might be open to other similarly priced 10-12" lift from another company. This is an 03 Excursion V10 4X4.

I was gonna recommend a local shop here until I noticed the 3-4 hour radius. I'm not sure it's within that.

But this guy does some really good work. And I don't think he's that expensive. And even though the site doesn't mention lifts I'm pretty sure he does them.

Not sure if he is still in business or not, but he did good work too.

Heck I could make this a mini vacation if theres something interesting in the area and the deal is right. I like finding excuses for lil road trips. Just want to get the best bang for my buck if you will.

Try Cooter's first I think he may have bought Koz out I'm not 100% sure. But my brother's friends get all of their work done at Cooters and most of them have little to no money so I can't imagine he is super expensive

I'd definitely stick with the BDS lift.

I've done a couple Excursion lift's and the BDS are your most "complete/basic" kit, in my opinion. Especially for a daily driver.

Busy day at work so I didn't get a chance to call any of these places yet. I did get the call back from attitude performance though. Hopefully I can make some calls in the next day or two and see what my best option will be. Thanks for all the suggestions everyone!
