Default Scottsdale Leaf Spring length

A friend of mine just ordered a 10 lift for his 82 Scottsdale 2500 from four wheel parts the springs they sent him seem to be too short. The ones we think are for the front have a shim bolted thru the center pin and they are the same length as the stock ones. The other set that cam are about 10" shorter then the stock rears. Would these trucks have come with different length springs or did they just send the completely wrong ones.

from the sounds of it, your buddy has 2 sets of front springs. The rears came in 2 lengths, 52" and 56".

Well I didn't actually measure the stock springs he just told me they were ten inches short. The two pairs that he got are different lengths by about four inches I think. The one set that we think are for the rear measure 50" I think but I don't remember for sure

the front springs will be 47" the rears will be 52 or 56 depending on model. they probably sent the wrong rear springs.
