Default i need 4 link help

hi. im building a 1978 short box ford. doing 4 link front and rear. im having trouble with the measure ments on bars, the axle truss angles, and what size of heims i should use for a show truck and silver lake dunes. im thinking 3/4 or 1''. send pics of yours please. thanks

i've built and am still working on the same truck. 16 inch lift 4 link front and rear,44inch tires. i live in sunfield mi and my # is 517 812 7681 call me.

the best advice i can give is do not skimp on the joint sizes unless you want to build it a few times when things fail

if its a full size truck i would get the biggest joints you can find

1 1/4 heims for 90 bucks a pair complete with tube inserts, jam nuts, misalignment spacers

that pic of your axle truss helps. i was thinking of 1.25 heims. extreme offroad parts heims are 35 ucks for one 1.25. so ima get them for the bottom bars and 1 for the top. thanks guys.

35 per heim is good, but there's a good amt of money in the misalignment spacers, tube inserts, and jam nuts as well. Keep that in mind when figuring out your costs- doubt you can get all that for 10 bucks per joint from Extreme offroad parts

All of this is 90 bucks from ruffstuff

extreme off road is all chromoly. the chromoly ones from ruff stuff are 135.00 for two of them.
