Default Stuffing 38.5X16 baja claws under my excursion, what else should I look at upgrading?

I have 4 38.5X16X16 baja claws on their way, and am currently looking at M/T classic II's in 16X12 with 4.25" backspacing to mount em on. I'm planning on a 10" BDS lift to clear these tires.

I have some history with a number of bronco's I have owned over the years including a 6" lifted one, and 33" baja claws on the other. So I have an idea of what I am getting into, just not completely familiar with the super duty/excursion.

I have an 03 V10 4X4 all black no boundarie edition thats stock other than billstein shocks with like 2-3k miles that I will now be selling due to the lift lol, a rancho RS5000 single stock replacement steering stabilizer that I just added a couple weeks ago. Powerslot cryo'd rotors with hawk LTS brke pads. And um, yeah thats about it other than my grover air horn and 05 front end conversion.

I was thinking upgrade to the 6.0 trans cooler that's much bigger and a bolt in. Upgrade to the new ford finned rear axle cover. Possibly a deep trans pan? Not sure what else I should be looking at as a mandatory or important upgrade.

This will be driven regularly on highways and around chicago and do mild to moderate off roading only as the things just to clean to get all beat up already.

With all that said, any and all suggestions, tips, hints, old wives tales, or general banter is much appreciated.

gonna need to change your gears front and rear or your gonna make your transmission mad and it won't stay in o/d. 4.88 if you have anything to tow 5.13 if your just driving around. i have a 99 v10 f350 crew with the same set up your putting on and the stock gears wouldn't cut it.

I was plannin on 5.13's. I have a friend that setup rearends for strange engineering that I'm gonna bribe into helping me do the gears. Or if it gets cold and I'm not feelin up to it I'll have a shop do em. I will probably drive on stock gears for a couple weeks as I'm impatient lol. Trans won't like me for a couple weeks but it will be a lot of highway driving so I feel I'll be ok for a short time. I have the junk 3.73's, but the excursion did get a factory optional 4.30 gear with the gas motors.

10" BDS lift is what I am planning on right now unless I find a better alternative.
