Hi Jeremy,

I just happened across your post. The t-case was from a 2001 XJ with 48K miles. This 231 is from the complete driveline that I purchased for my former YJ/XJ/CJ-10a project, which I parted out when I bought my Unlimited. The donor vehicle was a low-mileage XJ that was in a fairly mild front-end collision (I inspected the vehicle prior to purchasing the drivetrain). Any prospective buyers probably won't find a 2001 t-case with mileage this low.

I think you bought it for either $225 or $250...can't recall at the moment (my aging brain doesn't retain info like it used to. )

Good luck with the sale.

Craig
