Default another Window question for 01 2500

The other day my ds power window would not go up and the button would just make a clicking noise when I held it down. somehow today it started working again, do I need the motor or regulator?

You should just need the motor unless the steel cables are broken then you would need the regulator assembly.

I have replaced them for both reasons.

Sounds like yours just needs the motor. I think you can get them from the auto parts store or the dealer if you like OEM parts.
