Default Can turtles climb fences?

This guy was bound and determined to get into the yard today. The nearest pond is through the fence, across the yard, past the saint bernard, through another fence and two hundred yards down a wooded hill. The critters have been realy active lately. I hope it is not a sign of a bad winter coming.

Check out http://www.pbase.com/pwrwgn/2009 for more critter photos

I sure hope not!
Being able to climb would make the 2 mile long $318K Aunt Jenny turtle fence here in Muskegon a waste of money.
