Id want the front and Rear diffs to match if it were me.

Should be a dana 35 or maybe a 28 up front

Since it has a swapped in V8 and has parts off the truck, i would look for rigged up shit, or signs that the person did or did not know what they were doing whaen they did the work.

ehh id definitly listen to motorhead. After seeing the pic i agree, Major rigging took place on that thing. And hes right that doesnt make much sense that a D30 would be up front.
But as long as you are happy

I'd say steer clear of that truck, the axles (front and rear) are on the small end and the 302 will snap them if go racing around town or take it offroad. Find a ranger that has the 4.0 V6 in it, that will have the 8.8 in the rear and you will get the dana 35 up front. If you were purchasing the truck as a parts vehicle, then I would say go for it. This is just my opinion, you can use it or you can forget it.

my 2 cents worth..buy it only if you plan on it being a project vehicle, or for parts...plan on replacing the axles, re-doing alot of the "custom" work thats already been done, and finishing someone elses headaches...plan on putting time and money into it, and then weigh that against the purchase price to decide if its something you want to tackle

to me, it does not sound like a vehicle you can buy, bolt a few things back on, and run it
