I laugh my ass off at the new Granholm ads, about the World Engine plant in Dundee..

"When Daimlerchrysler and Two Other Automakers"....

Funny how they say that, and not: When DC, Hyundai, and Mitsubishi....

She wanted to tout that she did something, yet is embaressed to say that she gave business to the Aisans..

Gave business to Asians is embarrasing?

Until the Big 3 can manage the business's accordingly I truely believe they will remain the Failing 3.

She fucked up with Honda, she was there, failed to kiss thier ass to get them here. I pray that Yota buys Delphi. Then perhaps those that didn't get bought out will still have a chance.

I guess in Canada smaller numbers are better than bigger ones. She got us a plant with 300 new jobs...but didn't manage to get the one with 2000 new jobs.

she can't admit that she is doing business with asians...thats one of her biggest knocks against devoss(which we all know is bs). he goes, and creates jobs in china, one of the fastest growing markets around, and further solidifies the jobs of amway employess in mi, and he's automatically labeled as a bad man. granholm has to be careful to not get herself in that same boat, unless she's smart, rescinds her previous statements, and realizes that devoss did the right thing, and she needs to try and do the same thing; marketing michigan made products in foriegn markets

As much as she aggravates me, she (or anybody else) has NO chance of landing the Honda plant.

Honda will not put a plant in the heart of UAW land. They want independent, hardworking rural folks who resist unionization. One of the Ohio plants was built near a Mennonite community and they comprise a large number of the employees.

MI couldn't have enough tax breaks, development money, and no-interest loans to make up for that.

Seems like Honda would want to build a plant in this area with how weak the Big 3 are. With all of the layoffs the could get semi-skilled people that are near broke to work for them. They would probably get more tax breaks around the Metro area.

I think more Granholm didn't want to piss off her UAW voters by striving to pull a non-union company into the state.

Other than the brian washed UAW drones who does she have left for votes?

I expect that this state would switch colors if employment came back. Obviously it won't if people remain unemployed tho.
