I'm just too darn busy to post info up today, but, I will be posting info on these "ORV RULES" debate sometime tomorrow. I'm not going to spend the time cluttering up Great Lakes with this. IF you are curious about the ORV laws, since I went into the DNR Office today and spoke with half the darn building because what I was asking caught the attention of just baout everyone there in their office. WE are correct with what we are saying about having an ORV sticker and you DO NOT NEED AN EVENT PERMIT FOR THIS RUN BECAUSE WE ARE NOT CHARGING ANY MONEY TO ENTER THIS RUN< NOR IS IT A CHARITY RUN OR RAFFLE OR SUCH. BECAUSE THIS COLOR TOUR DOES NOT INVOLVE MONEY, NO PERMITS ARE REQUIRED BY OUR CLUB.

THe ORV stickers cost $16.25 each and are good, if yo don't already have one, through March 31st, 2010. And, we are NOT LIMITED to the number of vehicles allowed for this color tour. If you are legal, you're in!

I will be posting the info I was given by the DNR on our club web site and on the club forum. If you need the www address to either one of these locations, pm me and I will give it to you. I'm not posting the link here because it's uncool to post another forums link without permission from Clarkstoncracker.

The run is going to be good. It'll be about 4-5 hours, depending on stops. Only one section you'll need 4wd, due to sand depth (500' long). Some sections will be green (pines) and most are starting to turn and with last nights weather, next weekend ought to pop.

About 2 hours into the run, we will be stopping at the river for a light lunch. Bring snacks to munch on on the trails. You are welcomed to share in the tailgating for lunch if you'd like. If you'd like to bring something along to share, you are also more than welcomed to do so. This run should be exciting to everyone. Before we leave the trailhead on our jpurney, we will be announcing just what we have in store for the day. See you Saturday! Any type of full-sized off road vehicle and Jeeps are encouraged to attend, as we have been given permission by the DNR to have an unlimited vehicle number because this is a free gathering and it IS NOT A FUNDRAISER of any kind. Here's your chance to see more of the great outdoors of Northern Michigan, perhaps more than you have ever seen.

all are welcomed to attend, see you there. There's talk of another color tour joining with us, so the day will get better. And the weatherman says overcast/sunshine and into the 60's this weekend.

Only if it's a gas grille. Mason can't grill to save his life-and he knows it We are bringing the hot dogs and the buns and condiments. Anyone else care to chip-in and bring chips and such? Give us a hollar. Sure can't wait. I know i've stated that a million times. It's going to great weather, great colors with munchies & a light lunch and great fellowship There will be plenty of pictures to follow. And a surprise guest wheeling along with our group.

No, I will be at R&V on the 17th.
You'll have to protect yourselves from the meat.
