Default My new Bobber Project

Bought it for $175, Planning on doing a bobber project ovee the winter. I think I am going to do a tool themed bike, by using tool for the shifter, brake, strut rods and whatever brackets I can. Any good idea on tools to use would be appreciated.

look around for old wrenches, like the Ford ones (careful, some of those are worth big bucks)...some have some "different" bends to them, like a double box wrench that has both ends offset to the same side

sort of like this:

by welding a bolt head into the box end, it could make a pretty cool bracket of some sort...or maybe for a foot lever or small floor board

Sweet those are some good ideas. I can tell this is going to be expensive already, only bought a battery starting fluid, carb clean, and stuff to rewire it and I spend $85 already, and I get everything at cost, since I work at a parts store.

I might have some of those old wrenches like that, which you can have if I can find them. You cant have any of the Ford, Triumph, or Jaguar tools that I have though, they are worth too much to give away, or to weld onto a bike.
