Default My 99 XJ now build thread

Hi, im new to GL4X4
This is my 99 XJ with Rustys 8.5 inch long arm lift on 35 inch mtrs. Those are the basics but theres WAY more to list.


Next to a friends Jeep same year but his is 3 inches bigger......
Just some trails at a friends house

This is the one that just sold from Waterford, correct? The guy who used to own this works/ed at Motor Werks in Walled Lake. Definitely a nice XJ.

It may be cheap now but you will kick yourself later for not doing it, I know I did. I was going to do a 60,44 swap. I ended up selling the axles and found a 14 bolt and 60 front. for the same price I sold the old axles for.

thanks for the info ill be sure to look into a similar setup before making a final decision, the swap wont happen until winter so i have some time.

Joshua, Senior, rolling in the 87 red toyota as seen in avatar. or occasionally a 85 CJ7 but thats in pieces at the moment. i'm usually parked up top,but maybe i'll drop into the lower lot monday morning and see if i dont run into you.

iv got a question alix4d i have a 8.5 in lift to with adjustable control arms is it worth going to the long arm i considered when i first started doing the lift and decieded not to cause of the money but now i have the money for it so i was wondering is it worth getting
