Well lately I just have been picking up some odds and ends U bolts & plates, made a set of shock mounts for the axles just have to find tune them. Made some simple brackets to mount the explorer rear disc brake hoses to the spring perch.

Also I have talked with Alcan spring really not bad on price for custom tailored leafs I had originally had RE 1.5" leafs $160 in budget and the Alcan with a 0" lift leaf is $210 so I have saved money in the past by making odds and ends so WTF why not...

Also just cause I want to see how strong this NP231J is when modified I installed a 6 gear planetary out of a NP231C, I am going to try and find wide chain gears in the junk yard buy a new chain and install a JB Conversions supper short SYE and see what happens if it breaks looks like a Atlas II is going in...

I am on the home stretch finally once JB Conversions gets a shipment in I will have that SYE then set some drive line angles. Decided to go with Tom Woods for drive shaft no local shop gave me the price I wanted to hear TW ~290 to my front door

Today I spent most of the day hooking up new loaded calipers to the front and ran extended brake hoses also plumed the rear end with brake line then bleed the brakes

Also got the JB conversions super short SYE today installed that and measured for my rear drive shaft will be ordering that soon

I haven't been wheeling since 2004 somewhere out in PA, it will be nice just to have it back on the road was thinking about a new years day run but that's not happening now

I started to make a new xcase shifter it is just about done. Ordered a pulley and bracket kit for the motor for a saginaw power steering pump I also am in the middle of making my exhaust decided to go with 2 1/4" to a Y then go 3" all the way back with a Magnaflow muffler should sound just right I hope

After last week when I bleed the brakes I did notice that the pedal went to the floor after bleeding due to the add 3/4 ton brakes, so I picked up a 78 Mercury grand marquis master cylinder with 4 wheel disc for 16 bucks at the local parts store bench bleed it but didn't rebleed the brakes yet but I got a good pedal now

Also measured for my driveshaft got some good length out of that JB SYE and putting motor as far forward as possible 24 3/4″.

Also ordered a new clutch master cylinder and slave cylinder with hose

Well I have just received my Tom Woods drive shaft today so that will be going in tomorrow

I have been making some progress on my exhaust I have it all the way up to the muffler waiting on more bends to come in here is my only picture of this. Its 2 1/4" pipe to 3" with a Magnaflow 3" muffler

So hopefully everything goes good and I am able to burn everything in on the axles then I just have to get my clutch slave and master cylinder going

well the other day I got bored and decided to try out that VHT header paint on some of the exhaust, I am going to use some exhaust wrap too the pipe going under oil pan is pretty close so I hope that using that will prevent the exhaust from heating up the oil.

As far as my clutch hydraulic setup went, I used a 92 F150 7/8's bore master along with the matching 7/8's bore slave. Had to make a bracket to offset the master about a 1" to the drivers side to get enough room to clear the brake booster, also had to move the master about a 1" off the firewall to keep the pedals lined up and still get a full stroke to the floor boards.

I need to find some fittings for the master and slave, right now all I have done is take the stock fittings weld a brake line fitting on the end used a union and then made a steel brake line to connect them together

I will get some pictures up hopefully someone might know what I am looking for

I have been up to a lot lately but no pics uploaded will be working on that possibly tomorrow, I did put a under drive pulley kit on w/ 3G 130A alternator converted my manual steer to power steering exhaust finally made it all the way to the rear of the Jeep replaced the front springs w/ 6 leaf springs I ended up getting them gauge pod to replace the factory gauges

My next projects are to finish plumbing the fuel lines make a anti wrap bar for the rear axle and add a few gauges and get a steer shock hooked up
