You must be a GLFWDA member. If not the $5 fee is required. If you go that route no number is needed.

And if you are a GLFWDA member the number is on your membership card.

Just to clarify there is a difference between glfwda.org and gl4x4.com

A paying member of this site (gl4x4.com) does not make you a GLFWDA member.

There seems to be some confusion here.

Prices are per person. A GLFWDA membership extends to your immediate family. So, unless he's your legal soul mate, he has to pay for his membership separately.

Ride along for the fun, attend the CATERED banquet and have a chance to win cool prizes, I think it's a fair price.

I think he means you can bring the wife under your $5 GLFWDA supporter weekend memebership, but if your friend wants to come, he'll need to pay the $5 for the GLFWDA membership as well.

like i said i paid my $50.00 +$5.00 reg. fee. but i dont exactly want to bring the wife every two seconds all i would hear is "OMG".... and my buddy is a jeeper too, and has more experience than myself and im just trying to figure out if i can get away with him just taggin along on the fun (riding shot gun) not the banquet, or raffle just the trail ride (riding shot gun). he can go to wendys or somethin for food.... or if their is a cost and if so is it $5.00 or $50.00 or whole other $55.00 just to ride shot gun with me in my jeep?

Sorry to be a jerk here but the prices are set. You wife only gets a pass on the $5 fee. She still has to pay to attend the event. Same for your friend except he also has to pay the $5. It's an insurance thing, live with it.

Just so you don't feel like you're getting abused, my wife won't be riding on the trail rides with me. She's going to sit by the pool instead. So, we're paying $50 for her to attend the banquet. (and win cool stuff for me)

So, who's out more, your friend who has to spend an extra $5 TOTAL for EVERYTHING or me who's spending an extra $50 for the wife to be there for the 2 hour meal but NOT the 10 hours of trail riding?

I hope you can make it to the event and not get caught up worrying about $5. It's a ton of fun.

no thats great not a jerk by a long run. the five dollars i dont care about its the fifty...
and i understand the insurance thing too i was just kinda hoping since the $50 was paid for me and my vehicle that my one extra seat in my jeep would come at a lower or even free price.... i will let my friend know he has to pay the whole $55 just to ride with me...
unfortunetly i dont think he will be coming once i tell him this... so i'll most likely just bring my dog... he's free right? 110lb bloodhound.

and atleast you wouldnt have to hear "OMG" every two seconds since ur leaving ur wife at the pool.
