OK-I'm an idiot.....I thought that the $12.00 great lakes 4x4 (membership) was the same thing as the GLFWDA, my bad. So for now I will just have to pay the extra $5.00 and will probably sign up for GLFWDA soon. But registration and check are in the mail. Making reservations now.

There are all makes and models that go, the vid is from the big tire / difficult run and subsequently shows more of the radical rigs.

the video was great. My fav part was the woman sledding laughing her ass off......nice to get a break from reality and act like a kid again!

That was either my wife or Burliegh's wife. They swindled the sleds from Knightcrawlers poor, unsuspecting kids. *edit* I just looked again, I'm embarassed to say it was my wife. Don't worry, she's not going this year.

Ok I agree %100 with everything on the list with the exception of..... no fluid leeks, seriously?? Do they honestly expect every rig out there not to have an oil drip or two? I understand fuel leaks but oil, maybe a little transfer case drip, possibly some diff fluid coming from the rear pinion. Tell me that this is'nt watched too closely because I already sent the check in the mail.

We love laying on the frozen ground in temperatures close to 0 degrees going over your vehicle with a fine tooth comb. Especially those oil leaks. And then when we find those leaks, we fine you.

Just kidding, you will be ok.

Common sense prevails. If I see a puddle 6" in diameter when you've only been parked for 5 minutes, I will take issue with it. But a drip here and there.............

My big issue is safe tow points.

That's within spec for a Dana/Spicer 18 transfer case

x2 its really hard to wheel with someone when they get stuck and they have no ware to hook a strap. it makes for a very hard trip.

In my group, I will be putting infrared dye in every vehicle part that requires fluid, and you will have to pass a 90 minute 3500 rpm black light test.
