Default 4wd 700r4 and NP208

As the title says

700r4 4wd Fresh total rebuild by shop in Cadillac-- zero miles-- with new torque converter
NP208 that attaches to above

Is currently near Cadillac not at my place in UP

700 for the pair--rather not separate

Selling to make money for rebuild on my 999 for CJ but might entertain interesting trade offers----All I can say is no

Is the 208 a passenger or driver-side drop? Thanks.

Hey, I just saw your post on my Projection TBI thread, but I just sold it to another FSJ guy. I do have a 727 Jeep trans/converter from my Grand Wagoneer with about 10,000 miles on the rebuild. would you be interested in trading for that?

I was hoping that your NP208 was a Jeep (DSD) and not a Chevy (PSD).

Naw sorry--I"m pretty flush with transmissions right now

That 999 I've got with the Dana 300 came out of a cj so I've just got to jab it in there. I had the 700 to put in a M715 Kaiser but I'm either gonna sell that or just leave the Muncie 420 in there and plow snow with it.

Wish I had seen that thread sooner--Would have been perfect for the 302 in the Rustang

J-trucks had PSD up through 1979 with either a Quadratrac or Dana 20 t-case option. When AMC/Jeep switched to 727 trannies in 1980, they went to Driverside drop and New Process t-cases.

It sounded like you were needing to rebuild the 999, hence the 727 trade offer.

What's shape is your M715 in and what engine does it have, since there's a SM420 tranny in there?

Ah ok that makes sense--the Kaiser is a 68 and the Jtruck was a 73.

M715 has a SBC in it now--230 was kinda underpowered for a rig that heavy.
Know anyone who wants one?? V V V V

1968 Kaiser M715 - Great Lakes 4x4. The largest offroad forum in the Midwest

Might throw in the trans and case for the right price on the truck

And to answer your quesiton the Kaiser is in great shape--almost no rust and I dont mean how some people say that--this thing is clean---frame is great--I do have a ton of other photos of it as well.

And I'd like to stick with the 999 as its all still connected-- 999 to the 300 mounted on the skidplate with the driveshafts. Whole unit was dropped out of a jeep I parted so no messing around. There isnt anything wrong with it that I know but I'd rather just have it torn down and rebuilt and do it right-if you know what I mean.

Do you have some kind of run-down on what was done as part of the rebuild that you can PM me? Any upgrades or improvements? What shop?

I didn't previously know about this thread, or I would have hit you up a long time ago. My DUI sold yesterday.
