I have not been able to do much on the Honda for the last few days due to my brother-in-law blowing up the motor in his DD. I did manage to attached the center section of the chassis to my hoist. I made sure everything was level and square then I welded it to my hoist. I will now have a reference that will stay in place when I start welding on the front and rear ends. When I'm done with the rolling chassis I'll cut the supports out from the frame and the hoist and I'll be good to go.

Just curious why you decided to go that route for the front suspension and not take a route like a SFA like an old school gasser for more clearance?

BTW I can't wait to see the finished product.

Thought crossed my mind. I decided to go this way because I want no modifications to the exterior sheet metal. No cutouts, no wheel flares, no stretching of panels, etc.

The dimunitive nature of this car is not done justice by the pictures. It is very small.

Think smaller than an Austin Mini.

I bet your ugly enough, you could be your own Ed Roth "Monster". Just chop a hole in the roof, then extend the shifter and steering wheel and your good to go

I've seen that before. I believe its a AP class autocross car. AP is the fastet class on the track with the exception of the shifter carts. The only thing on that car that is Honda is the general shape. The guy built the car from the ground up and the body is fiberglass. Cool little car but it dosn't do much for me.

I was hardcore into autocross at one time. Here are some pictures of the 1991 Suzuki Swift GT I built. I owned the car for years and it was a fun little turd. I lettered it up as a Geo Metro to confuse people. Suzuki Swift and Geo Metros are the EXACT same car. The Swift GT just had a snotty little motor in it and four wheel disc brakes.

I'd be offended if it weren't true.
