I like your determination for this to be a 350 however.

I am looking forward to the look on peoples faces at the drag strip when I fire this thing up and they hear a cammed V8.

i think you are going to need a change of underwear, the first time it shifts in second gear under full throttle.

someone commented earlier about this but will it actually fit in the back of a 8 foot pickup box? If it does it would be so sweet to just have a set of ramps so you can just drive on. It would blow peoples minds

The car is 10' long so it would be a very tight fit.

I've seen the vid of that Honda before. I don't really like it but to each their own. I'm going for more of a traditional pro street look tucked into a tiny package.

With the engine and trans IN the cab with you, are you going to be able to pass safety?

The engine and transmission will be enclosed just like a van.

The Honda project is going to be put on hold for a little for a short period of time while I build an outdoor wood boiler.

I just put together a wrecked Suzuki Cavalcade. This bike project is done so it's time to dust off the Honda.

Now that I'm knocking down some serious corn at my new job, I can afford to stuff a few bucks in this thing. I won't be doing much fabbing in the near future because of some other projects but I am going to start accumulating more parts.

One thinig I've decided to do is ditch the 12" tires on the back and drop down to 10" wide. I was going to flare the piss out of the rear quarters but that would have set me up for a bunch of problems making the rear bumber and tail lights fit into the bodywork. When I built the frame and narrowed the rear end, I did it with 10" wide tires in mind so everything would fit inside the stock sheet metal. I think this look will be much better than a bunch of fiberglass crap hanging off the sides.

Look what I found in the shop!

Just scored a set of 906 Vortec heads for the Honda. I'm going to go through them and make it so I can run more lift, use standard valve seals, and I'm putting in screw in studs.
