Default 99 S-10 4.3 fuel pressure

A friend of mine needs to know what fuel pressure his truck should be running at. He doesn't own a Haynes book so I thought I would ask on here. I told him to buy a guage too. I read somewhere on here that it should be @ 60 p.s.i., is this correct? Thanks!

and these fuel injection systems are very picky about pressure, no less that 58lbs. anything less, check filter for restriction, then plan on installing new pump! david

Spec is between 60 and 66 psi and as stated they are very picky about fuel pressure. If you are just a little below 60 I would try a new fuel filter first.
