The plan from what I was told is it will be open on the weekends. The gravel pit is still working through the week.

How were the numbers today????

Went on Sat. didn't get to see much of the park due to breakage, (front drive shaft ripped in half, starter went out, & lock out exploded), was able to do one trail before things went to hell & it was awesome. Very tight with a lot of off camber & steep small hill climbs. Can't say enough about the locals in this area very helpful, friendly people. A big thanks to Oliver from Parts Plus in Brooklyn & his buddy @ the body shop who welded up my drive shaft & the guys @ Summerset Hardware for use of your tools & work shop. I will definitely be going back again, & again, & again!!

We had a great time and will be going back monday after I get the headgasket replaced on the samurai. I have some pics and vids that I will get up sometime.

This will be one of the best parks going if they keep up with it.

Man this place is insane!! Had a great time being my first time wheelin!!! Only got stuck twice and people there helped me out both times, it was great! Bad news is my speedometer don't work now, my bumper is bent, some bar thing that goes from the pitman arm can now move up and down, front light is broke off and the strangest thing my steering wheel is now completely upside down but the xj still goes in a straight line?!?! I got to meet a lot of cool people from here today too!!

you should know why your steering wheel is upside down from what you've stated.

you're welcome. drive safe :)

Man I sure wish I did know!! This is my first jeep and the verry first time I ever drove off road like that, I had no idea a jeep cherokee could go airborn like that. The tie rod( not bar thingy) has about a inch of free play when I grab it and push up and down, I just can't figure out how that could make the steering wheel do a complete 180 like that. Any way I can fix this in the morning so I can get back out to Bundy hill by noon?
P.s. By the way we found a trail that put Nut check trail down to pantie cheeck trail. It was up by chicken hill and thanks to the guys that came and pulled us out of that shit!!!

That one was my fav. too, I lost my rear side window in that wash out at the begining right before the big hill climb, the back half of that trail is tight, I love all the little steap hills.

Could you see yourself spending two days there? Or is a day enough time to do everything?

Also do you find doing the same thing over and over again?
