It was rather disappointing. Although there was the usual formalities & reports, the major focus was the new director's order being put in place by Jenny. No one knows if this was the last ORV advisory board meeting as we know it, or in some other version. The new committee is 100% appointed and they will have the ability to form sub committees .......... if they see the need. So, at this point, there is nothing to force them to listen to the general public and there is a high risk of the new committee to be extremely one sided on partisanship. This could be devastating for us.

All the board members took the time to make the usual speeches of "it's been great working with all you" etc etc. Even Paul Mulder had a sappy speech.

Yah,
I agree with what Whiterhino just said and was shocked to hear Paul say what he said about being OK with the new Ex Order from Jenny. I just think Paul is so frustrated at the exsisting ways that things are ran in the ORV community, that he thinks a ''change'' cant be worse.

I did'nt really care for some of the ''suger coating'' that went on by the Boards Chair and a few others. But I have learned thru the years thats how they do it when Politics is involved

Some talk about Sheltrowns 2010 Comprehensive ORV Legislation and what its going to do for us.

*They want to charge us 18.00-20.00 bucks for a 3 year registration sticker on top of the 30.50 ORV sticker that we must buy every year.

* They also wan to run the private enterprize ORV safety instructor out of business.

*Want to change the defintion of ATV and ORV to OHV

*Some discussions on HB 5087 that makes no sense
