Whatever, I am just shocked at what I see I guess.

I will be equally sad when a member of the Bush family passes, even W.

I felt a great sense of loss when Reagan passed. In fact, I posted pics and video links of Nancy crying on his casket because it moved me.

I am sad that a person who dedicated his life to serve this country has passed.

CC, I won't discount a whole family because of some mistakes.

Some of you are so blinded by partenship that you forget that the opposing party system is one of the things that makes this country great.

The only difference between the left and the right is how they want to get to the same goal, and that goal is making and keeping America strong. Ideologically speaking.

When John Kerry was running for prez he wanted to change the election rules that allowed the governor (then Mitt Romney) to appoint Kerry's replacement, they succeeded.

No more appointments by the governor.

Now that they have Deval Patrick as governor he wanted to change the rules back so Patrick can appoint the new senator.

Good Riddance

This is just a silly notion.

He dedicated his life to a position of power and money. Yes I also feel the same way about the 'right'.

I think it is sad that somebody lost a dad/husband/uncle/cousin/etc. But speaking in moral terms, this guy was not an asset to society.

Saying ted kennedy changed politics is the same as saying jeffrey dahmer changed hitch hiking.

I have to agree, just because the guy died dosen't change who he was or what he stood for, neither of which I cared for.

It reminds me of when Michael Jackson died. Everyone forgot who he really was.

I said he was influential in American politics.

Did not say he changed American politics.

Chivas Regal will close down production for three days as a tribute, and to adjust for a sudden drop in demand.

In related news, the Kopechne family will be holding a barbecue and open house in celebration.

My feelings go out to his immediate friends and family for their loss.

Personally, it's about time. Good riddance. And the horse you rode in on, you drunken murderer. Too bad you didn't decode to take Nancy Pelosi and Hillary Clinton for "a ride"...

i cannot believe they are making him out to be a hero. this guy represented the stagnent, corrupt, useless washington status quo. what made him so great? his bullshit about immigrants? being a huge part in that stupid "no child left behind" that allows more kids to be progressed whether they should or not.

if he was influential in american politics it was only to teach others how to scam the people of this nation to fuel personal greed.

let's face the facts: ted kennedy was there all this time because of who he was, not what he did. I would bet solidly that people simply felt sorry for the guy and his family.

If his 40+ years in office doesn't tell you about the wonderful people of MA then I don't know what will.

Glad to see he's gone, maybe something good will come of it.

he murdered Mary Jo Kopechne

he left a helpless young girl to die in a cold river, now he will be judged for his crime.

the ill gotten kennedy fortune cant save him now.
