Default long travel suspension for 79 ford....what's best?

I've been looking at some new suspension for my 79 ford f-150 and I'm not sure what to get. I was looking at the rancho rs9000xl pro series remote resevoir. Are they any good? If I get those, will I be able to remove the front coil springs?

Are you using poly C-bushings or rubber?

the shocks will not be able to hold the front of the truck up. you will need actual coilovers

thats way to nice of a shock in my opinion, unless you plan on racing or something.

if you want adjustability just go with the rs9000xl, still has nine settings.

I had horrific articulation with the poly bushings. Switched back to the old rubber bushings and got several inches more travel. I guess it won't matter much on the dunes, but it sucked for me on the trails.
