Default Help/replacing Floor Boards Or New Cab??

Hi All, I have an 85 Chevy Pickup. The driver side floor is pretty well shot along with the cab support. I'm looking to fix the rust. I know replacing the cab would be more time consuming, but probably better, verses cutting and patching. What do you guys think and who has done it? Thanks

We replaced both drivers and passengers floor boards, kick panels, and cab support and mount on my truck. It took quite a while because you have to grind down all the paint and make sure the welds stick good. Just don't cut a hole in the floor without lining up the new one to see where it meets up because you want it to overlap. It isn't too tough of a job but since you're going to be replacing the floors make sure you check everything else and see if all the other panels are good. We thought that just my floors were bad too but then we realized the other panels were bad after we started cutting into it.
