Default LED Tail Lights

I was thinking about getting LED tail lights for my truck but i was told you need a converter because the LEDs dont use as much power so my truck would think my bulb is burnt out, so it would blink fast. Does anyone know if this is true or have an opinion on LED Truck Tail Lights?

True about them blinking fast, but it still works. You can get some resistors from radio shack, I think you get 5 for about $1.50. Or you can get a LED relay, they are about $20.

Do a search online as to which resistor you need to use.
