I think they have a rock crawling course set up now too. I've been there twice. It should be about $10 to get in for a day or $7 if you are a Mt. Morris resident (at least when I went it was) and probably $16 for the ORV sticker from Meijers.
They have more than just mud there, I liked going on the back trails in the woods back there and having some fun. I'd go there more often now if I still lived there. Beats the rock crawling stuff here.

There is atleast one small area with some "technical" hills and such, right off the side of the main trail passed the first scramble area. There are a few that my Toyota failed misserably because I didnt have lockers. I scraped up the side of the truck and dented both doors in there If I can ever get the video from a friend of mine, I could show you what I'm talking about, but there are others that know of the spot I'm talking about.

Other then that, its a some less than challenging trails, and yes.. A LOT of mud.

I had fun the first couple times.

Not quite the same amount of money when you have to buy 100 dollars in gas to get to them. He's a ways away from any of the Michigan ones, let alone the Mounds.

Looking up how far away Bedford is... I wouldnt take the trip. If you're already going to be in the area.. Meh, hit it up. Could be fun. But I'd go somewhere else if you're planning a weekend trip for just going wheelin.

Exactly. Unfortunately I am pretty far from most of the parks, I was hopin' this one would be a little better than what you guys are saying. Hopefully this new one supposedly opening up Labor day weekend is pretty good.

It's up a $1 for each this year. $8 / day for Genesse county residents, $11 for out of county.

And a few U-Joints / D-Shafts?

A few words of wisdom: Stay out of the main mud pit. You'll regret it. Out of the 2 times I decided to put my head up my ass there, I ended up nursing my alternator all the way home.

I think you're talking about Cherokee trail. That is a pretty nice/crazy trail with a big hill climb at the end
