Default 1970 ford f100 clutch or flywheel question

i drive a 1970 f100 4x4 manual trans and just recently it has been making a click/scraping noise kind of like when something repeatedly hits a fan and it gets worse and worse the more i rev but when i push in the clutch just an inch the sound goes away. anyone know what it is.. could it be the flywheel?

sounds like a bad throw out bearing. or if its dragging the clutch fingers and doesn't have free play it can also be the fork squeaking on the pivot. they do need greased from time to time.
