Default "The Asian Chic" (EVA) & a few others too NSFW

Here is some of Eva, as requested. Not sure if I retouched these or not so bare with me.

If you'd allow me to make a couple suggestions... The main thing that stuck out was the background being really wrinkly, kinda distracting for me anyways, and the other was the focus on the last 3 or so, i think it may be a touch off.

I'm not trying to be critical or a d-bag or anything, but you said that u were selling images and doing some pro stuff so i don't think that you'll take my comments like that, at least i hope not...

If these were just snapshots of the "asian chick" forgive me

Ya, those were untouched. When I use photoshop, the background will go away. The focus was off a bit in those. That was one of the first shoots I did with that camera and I hadn't set the thing right that adjusts the lens to your eye (so you don't have to shoot with glasses) so it was slightly off. All those photos were taken on the same black background, even the ones that aren't the asian girl, so you can see the difference. The asian girl wasn't a client. I shot her for a website for a client. Certain photos were used for the site, but the rest I just shot for fun and were never used so I never photoshopped them.

I've done quite a bit of tattoo work. I have some examples I could show ya in person just not over the web. I can get really nice hardcover books made for real cheap. I do calenders too and they are cheap! Can anyone say GL4x4 calender shoot? Kelly?

No big deal. I post a lot of my stuff on photo forums where the really good guys tear me a new one so I'm used to it but it makes my shooting better.

I'm guessing, judging by the iso settings and shutter times, that you are not using any type of flashes, but a hotlight?

You can view the EXIF data with a plugin for firefox, or if using a pc you can right click on an image and hit properties then view the advanced tab. This will tell you EVERYTHING about that image. Time and date, shutter times, focal length, if it was post processed, exposure methods, what brand and model camera, etc.... Even cell phone pics have this embedded.

Yes, I shoot with no flash, minimal hot lights. Well, actually they are flourecents, lol. Most don't like them but I do. But no, flashes suck IMO.

I use two umbrellas in the front, two smaller bulbs, no umbrellas, in the back bounced off the walls which are painted flat black. Took me quite a while to get the lighting and camera the way I like it. Try shooting on white though and I am fucked, lol. Gotta totally reset everything.

Man i dont know what i would do without my off-cam flashes. I love em! My main reason is to get rid of those 1600 iso values and get the shutter high enough to phase out any camera blur. I don't do much portrait stuff though, mainly lightbox stuff with a couple speedlights. I'm looking to get a couple softboxes or umbrellas soon and start working with studio stuff.

Flashes only suck when you don't know how to use them properly.
