Default 2wd ranger gets sas

i got the ranger about 2 years ago completly stock and was supposed to stay that way. 2.3 5spd 2wd. after about 6months of owning it i did 1.5 leveling coils with a home made 1.25 coil spacer , body lift, 8.8 swap with 4.56 and lockright. did ok in the mud and sand but wasnt enough. now almost completed is a d30 with 4.56 , truetrac, waggy leafs, with some ruff stuff mounts. in between this i also swapped the faded dash and seats.

If it were mine I think I would add some gusseting to the front crossmember.

But it looks great otherwise.

no i had to swap the trans. and its not easy finding a 2.3 4wd 5spd. but i eventually found one at the junkyard and for only 75 bux. ive read you can just swap the output shaft but i dont know anything about transmissions except how to swap them. ive already had the trans in and out 4 times since ive had it "thats more than ive changed the oil" hahahaha

Very nice - I bought one new in '97 with the 2.9L. had it for MANY years. Many lifts and other accessories. I drove it daily and beat the tar out of it and it NEVER left me stranded. Best vehicle I ever owned. I would love to have another 2WD to swap in a 302 and just run some paddles for the sand. NICE JOB!

That's a really clean SAS, nice work.

100x better than some of the redneck shit I've seen on this site lately.

Yea he is being classy about it.

its kinda starting to piss me off I just want him to get it done, especially since he got a hell of a deal on all the stuff I originally bought for my ranger.
