Alpine is fine. I'm a big fan of Pioneer decks.

Sony blows.

dude. come on now. stick with pioneer. just as many controls as alpine, and pioneer still has the better user interface.

Another vote for Alpine or Pioneer. Personally, Pioneer.

I've been browsing around for a stereo for my Jeep project and I like the pioneers also. I really like the usb ports most stereos come with now. You can load up a thumb drive and stick it in. Gone are the days of "disks"... yeah!

Not sure what size the 03 takes, but I had a GM/Chrysler direct fit Pioneer deck in my Dakota. I really liked that deck.

I had a deh-p4800 in my TJ with a 8" rsa Bazooka in the back. That was my first deck with a built in crossover. That was badass once I had it setup correctly.

Had a deh-p3800 in an 06 Taurus. The Taurus blew nutz. The deck was probably the best part of the car.

MP3 cd, play, means u can burn the songs in MP3 format, and put like 80 songs on one cd. thats all.

but seriously the 4900ib is an awesome awesome deck. trust me. its the one i have and refuse to get rid of.

dude do you own a camaro? do you have a mullet? do you think duals out the back of your z-71 is cool? then pioneer is for you!!! Alpine makes some good units they have the best integration with our IPOD though, charges it has the ipod display on the screen. I am also a fan of eclipse head units.. only issue s if you for some reason change batteries often the security code needs to be set properly. they probably have the most user friendly set up and use as well
