Default 14" wide tire on a 4" lifted TJ???

I know it's not Jeep Tech but needing Quick answers due to the sale of these tires.

98 TJ with 4" 3 or 3.5 off set and 15x 9-9.5 wide rims

Can I run a 33x14.00x15 and not tear up the tire?

It may work, but just because it's possible.. doesn't mean you should.

You will look like a stupid mexican. Don't go any wider than 12.5"

is "tread lightly" code word for "looking like a stupid ass dummy" these days?

You couldn't pay me to run a 14" wide tire on a mildly lifted TJ with 15" wheels.

I see them around where i live every now and then and i just shake my head. They look stupid and i can't imagine you get much benefit unless you are on sand... stick with the 12.5 like rockyMTN05 said.... no matter how good of a deal it is.

You're from Ypsi, don't pretend to know a good looking whip dog.
