Default Insurance rates climbing

Hey Guys, I don't know if your rates have been climbing or you think you pay too much but I noticed Citizens has been a lot lower then everyone lately. A couple months ago it was Auto Owners. Anyway I carry both and can cover all of Michigan. PM me if you want a quote on home or auto.

I have our commercial policy, liability policy and workers comp policy all through Auto-Owners. Bummer I didn't know that's what you did for a living.

Ya that and Mortgages still but the mortgage business has sucked so bad, I got my license a couple years ago.
Are you still doing Auto sales? If so you have to be slammed with the cash for cars? I can do an auto quote in 20mins if you need some and I'm at my computer, or call me 248-568-0322

my parents and I have citizens and it is the cheapest around. I pay $40 a month for plpd for my '93 chevy 1500 that has no options, and the policy is in my name (I'm 16).

I'll vouch Citizens any day, and even better they actually pay out when you make an auto or home-owners claim.

unlike my experiences with allstate whom I will never, ever do business with again.

Darn, I just switched to AAA. They beat Farmers to pieces. Isn't there a law, rule, or policy about switching in under 6 months,,,,,, causing a person to go into a "high risk" category?

we went with Citizens a year ago....
saving $200+ on auto ( 12 month policy)
and only about $20 a year on home owners, but just about doubled the coverage.

No, that doesn't happen the Agent will be mad because they take back whatever percentage of him commission you didn't stay for, so if you leave 2months into a 12month policy he has to give back the 10months worth. Depending on who your Agent is, if he's a personal friend or not you may want to weigh that one out. Although I've never known AAA to be that competitive I could be wrong though.

we switched everything from state farm to citizens about 3 years ago. our policies got better and the price stayed the same. car insurance is much cheaper why did we switch? I got some prices from them and the agent reviewed our state farm policy. he showed us a disclaimer printed very small on the policy that said state farm would not pay in full on the policy. wtf?
