Default Weird

So, yesterday on my way home from work, I got a couple ants crawling around inside. When I took the couple bags of groceries out of the back, there were a bunch of them on the tow strap so I asked Motrctyman about them.

He vaccumed it out and washed it for me and found a "nest" of them behind the license plate.

Is this an Alabama or southern thing???

They found dirt behind the license plate mount and made a big nest in it. I took his car into work today. There are still ants all over the inside of the Jeep. Ugh!

No, but they do bite. They are annoying as hell though.

X kazillion!

Yea, fire ants are the worst! I found that out washing my first jeep in the grass at one of our Fla houses. They band together and float in water until they reach something dry (like my feet) to climb.

I would rather have ants on my license plate than the bees that are building a condo in the roof above my sons room... Walked in there today to put some cloths away and it sounded like they were eating the house....
